What Is E6 CONNECT, and What Do You Need to Run It at Home?

E6 CONNECT is golf-simulation software that turns data from a compatible launch monitor into a virtual range, golf courses, games, and online play. It runs on Windows PCs and supported iOS devices. For Windows, TruGolf's manual recommends an Intel i5 processor, 8 GB of RAM, a dedicated DirectX 11 graphics card at Nvidia 1070 level, 25 GB of storage, Windows 10, and an internet connection. The more important first check is whether your launch monitor supports the E6 connection you plan to use.
E6 CONNECT does not measure the shot
The launch monitor still does the tracking. E6 receives the shot data and builds the virtual golf experience around it.
That means the software is only one link in the chain. You still need compatible tracking hardware, a computer or supported iOS device, and a display that makes sense for the room.
PC requirements are modest by modern gaming standards
The E6 CONNECT manual lists these as its recommended Windows setup: an "Intel i5 Processor," "8GB RAM," an "Nvidia 1070 Graphics Card or equivalent" with DirectX 11 support, 25 GB of drive space, and Windows 10, with an internet connection required.
That is the published software requirement, not a promise that every high-resolution simulator will perform exactly the way you want. If you plan to drive a large 4K projector, size the computer for that visual target instead of buying only to the published line.
E6 also runs on supported iPhones and iPads
TruGolf says E6 CONNECT "is available for PC and iOS Users" and offers the same features on both platforms.
Launch-monitor support can still narrow the choice. An iPad that can run E6 is not automatically compatible with every launch monitor, so check both sides of the connection before assuming a tablet-only setup will work.
Licensing depends on the launch monitor
TruGolf sells E6 CONNECT by subscription. Its download page asks you to "Select your Launch Monitor and Subscription Tier" and starts a 10-day trial, and the Home plan's price is shown only after you log in.
Before paying for software, courses, or a subscription, identify the exact launch monitor you own and follow the current activation path for that hardware.
Supported hardware and license transfers
TruGolf says E6 CONNECT pairs with more than 18 launch monitors, including Garmin, Rapsodo, and FlightScope. Its manual also notes that licenses "can be easily transferred from one computer to another," which matters if you start on one machine and move to a dedicated simulator PC later.
