GSPro vs. E6 CONNECT: What Is Different for a Home Golf Simulator?

GSPro and E6 CONNECT do the same basic job: they take shot data from a compatible launch monitor and turn it into simulated golf. The differences show up in the computer you need, the launch monitors they support, and how licensing works. GSPro is built around a Windows gaming PC. E6 CONNECT also runs on iOS, which can make a tablet-based setup possible.
Your computer may narrow the choice immediately
GSPro currently requires Windows 10 or 11 and is aimed at a fairly capable gaming PC. Its published guidance starts around an RTX 3060-class graphics card with 16 GB of memory for 1080p play, with stronger hardware suggested as image quality and resolution go up.
E6 CONNECT runs on Windows and iOS. TruGolf's recommended Windows setup is lighter on paper: an Intel i5, 8 GB of RAM, a dedicated DirectX 11 graphics card around GTX 1070 class, and 25 GB of storage.
If you already plan to leave a gaming PC in the simulator room, that distinction may not matter much. If you want the whole setup to revolve around an iPad, it matters before you compare course libraries or graphics.
Launch-monitor compatibility is not interchangeable
Both programs work with multiple launch monitors, but not always through the same connection or subscription. A monitor that works cleanly with one program may need an additional manufacturer plan, a different activation path, or may not support the other program in the same way.
GSPro, for example, does not list SkyTrak among its supported units and requires a Bushnell Gold subscription for the Launch Pro. TruGolf's download page has E6 users pick their launch monitor before a subscription tier.
The payment models feel different
GSPro currently uses an annual subscription. Its older lifetime add-on is no longer offered.
E6 CONNECT is also sold by subscription. TruGolf's Home plan lists 27 owned courses, and its price appears only after you log in. That makes the first checkout price less useful than the cost of the setup you would actually keep for several years.
GSPro suits a permanent gaming-PC room
GSPro naturally fits a simulator where a Windows PC stays connected to a projector or large display. As the target resolution rises, so does the graphics requirement.
E6 can fit that same kind of room, but its iOS support gives it another option: a simpler setup built around a compatible iPhone or iPad. For some homes, avoiding a dedicated gaming PC is a bigger advantage than a difference in course presentation.
