How Should You Store Golf Clubs and Accessories in a Simulator Room?

Keep clubs and accessories close enough to use easily, but outside the swing, ball, and walking paths. Clubs need a protected rack, small items need one predictable home, and drinks should stay away from electronics. Good storage should make the room feel less cluttered without taking space away from golf.
Put the Club Rack Where a Swing Cannot Reach It
A narrow wall rack looks efficient until it steals the few inches of side clearance a driver needs. Place clubs beyond the swing arc or behind a protected boundary, not on the closest empty wall.
Think about missed balls too. An expensive set of clubs is poor side protection.
Make Changing Clubs Easy Without Crossing the Hitting Area
The next club should be easy to reach between shots, but nobody should have to walk through the stance area or directly behind an active golfer to get it.
A rack near the entrance to the bay works better than storage beside the screen because it keeps people out of the front of the room while someone is hitting.
Give Small Accessories One Home
Tees, gloves, alignment sticks, spare balls, remotes, launch-monitor accessories, chargers, and adapters quickly disappear into a dark simulator room. A shallow drawer, small cabinet, or labeled bins are enough.
What matters is keeping the floor and hitting mat from becoming the default storage surface.
Keep Drinks and Cleaning Supplies Away From Electronics
A simulator often becomes a social room, so beverages eventually appear. Give them a dedicated surface away from the PC, launch monitor, projector controls, power strips, and charging station.
Store cleaning products separately as well. A bottle that leaks inside the same cabinet as cables and adapters creates a problem that better organization could have avoided.
Do Not Hide the Equipment You Still Need to Service
Cabinets can make a room look finished, but computers and network equipment need airflow, and launch-monitor or projector connections may need to be reset or replaced.
Leave access to power, ports, filters, and cable routes. A clean-looking installation is much easier to own when you can still reach the equipment.
Add Permanent Storage Last
Test the hitting position, seating, and walking path before you install built-ins. A cabinet is successful only if the room is easier to use after it is installed.
