The indoor collection has three models, the Alcove (2 person), Haven (3 person), and Retreat (4 person), which Redwood says are built to fit spaces such as bathrooms, basements, and spare rooms.

Some of these are add-ons to a sauna kit. The 6-person barrel includes shingles, backrests, sauna rocks, and a light fixture, but its flat floor ($299) and beveled roof kit ($599) are sold separately.

What to check before choosing a model

Redwood's foundation FAQ asks for a level, strong, and stable base, either a deck or a concrete pad at least 4 in thick reinforced with mesh, and advises against placing a sauna directly on the ground. Its heaters are hardwired on 240V with a standard non-GFCI 2-pole breaker, the wiring must be done by a licensed electrician, and a 6kW heater takes a 30A breaker with 10/2 wire.

Freight is curbside: the carrier leaves the crate at the end of the driveway and does not enter the backyard or help with setup. The sauna warranty runs one year from delivery, covers only the original purchaser, and excludes improper electrical work, site preparation, and contractor error.
