About this site
Home Sauna is an independent publication about planning a home sauna, steam shower and cold plunge, run by one person. It is not a retailer, an installer or a design service, and it is not owned by or affiliated with any manufacturer. The publisher can be reached through the contact form.
How this site makes money
Three kinds of link on this site are affiliate links. The store links on the red light panels page go to FLiKEZE through the impact.com network: if you buy there after clicking one, FLiKEZE pays this site a commission. The Omaha Sports & Games cards in the shop and on the home page also go through impact.com: if you buy from that store after clicking one, it pays this site a commission. The Sam’s Club™ cards in the shop and on the home page go through Rakuten Advertising: if you buy at that store after clicking one, it pays this site a commission. In every case the price you pay does not change. Every page that carries such links says so in one line under its title. No other link on this site earns a fee: the sauna, heater and cold plunge links in the articles, the guides and the planner go directly to the retailer. Commissions do not affect what the planner returns, which listings are shown, or the order they appear in.
The device photos on the red light panels page and the home page are the maker's own, loaded from its store, and the photos on the Omaha Sports & Games cards are the store's own, loaded from its store. FLiKEZE and Omaha Sports & Games prices are the store's listed prices on the date shown next to them. The Sam’s Club™ cards show no price; the photos on them are the store's own, loaded from its image server, and the current price is the one on the store's page. SamsClub.com and Sam’s Club are trademarks of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Confirm the price on the retailer's site before buying.
Terms of use
Everything here is general information, not advice. This site is not an electrical, structural, building-code or financial service, and the planner does not produce a construction drawing, a circuit design or a permit document. Figures come from published manufacturer, retailer and code sources, which change without notice; confirm with the supplier and a licensed electrician before buying or building. Decisions made on the basis of this site are your own, and Home Sauna is not liable for the result, as far as the law allows. If a figure here is wrong, say so through the form below and it will be corrected.
Privacy
What is collected. Nothing, unless you use the contact form. The planner runs entirely in your browser: what you enter is not sent to this site. “Save this plan on this device” writes the plan to your browser's local storage only; this site cannot read it, and “Forget this plan” or clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Contact form. The name, email address and message you enter go to Formspree, a third-party form processor, which forwards them to the publisher by email. They are used only to answer you and are deleted once the exchange is complete.
Hosting and analytics. The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes request data, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and protect the service, and which adds a cookie-less Web Analytics beacon that counts page loads without identifying you. The pages themselves contain no tracking code. This site does not track you across other sites and does not respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is nothing to switch off.
Cookies. This site sets no cookies. Clicking a FLiKEZE store link or an Omaha Sports & Games card takes you to that retailer, which may set its own cookie to attribute a later purchase to this site; the retailer's privacy policy governs that.
Your rights. To ask what is held about you, or to have it deleted, use the form below. Unless you have written in, nothing about you is held.
