Its home lineup centers on electric heaters, wood-burning sauna stoves, UKU control systems, heater accessories, and sauna accessories. Electric heaters are the core of the range

HUUM's electric heaters come in five families: DROP, HIVE, CLIFF, STEEL, and CORE, several with Mini or wall-mounted versions for smaller rooms.

The heater choice affects planning. A heater with a large stone mass can take up more floor area, need a particular guard arrangement, and influence how the benches are placed. It makes sense to choose the heater before the bench layout is final.

There are wood-burning options too

HUUM also sells two wood-burning stoves, HIVE Wood and HIVE Flow. HIVE Wood comes in 13 and 17 kW versions, and the 17 LS model heats the sauna from an adjacent room. HUUM says HIVE Flow sends 75% of the firewood's heat into the sauna instead of up the chimney. These fit projects where the required chimney, clearances, and local rules can be handled properly.

An electric HUUM installation is mainly an electrical and control problem; a wood-burning HUUM installation adds combustion and flue design.

UKU is the control family

HUUM's UKU controls come in two versions. UKU Local is run only from the control panel, and Wi-Fi can be added later. UKU WiFi adds the HUUM app, which sets the start and end time of heating and the target temperature. Both can have sauna lighting, ventilation, and a steamer connected. On HUUM's US site, UKU WiFi handles heaters up to 11 kW, or up to 18 kW with the UKU extension box.

If remote control is important to you, confirm which heater, controller, sensors, and safety features are required for the exact setup. 'Smart control' is not one universal configuration across the whole range.

What to check before choosing a HUUM system

HUUM will be most relevant to homeowners who already want a traditional sauna and like the look and layout of a stone-heavy heater. Before ordering, check the heater's U.S. documentation, room-volume range, clearances, controller compatibility, electrical requirements, and the space needed around the heater.

HUUM's US site publishes separate US manuals for DROP and UKU, and the US DROP page lists a 240 V supply with 30 A to 50 A fuses depending on output.
